Cecil Dole is the Deputy Auditor General for State-Owned Enterprises and Special Audits. He was appointed by the President of the Republic of Liberia on June 30, 2022. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Liberian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting (Honors) from the Don Bosco Polytechnic, now Stella Maris Polytechnic, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Central University in Accra, Ghana. He later served as a lecturer at the Arthur Barclay Business College of Stella Maris Polytechnic University.
Cecil began his career as an intern at VOSCON Inc. – CPAs, now Baker Tilly Liberia. He later joined the Audit Department, specifically the unit responsible for clients within the following sectors: Financial Services, Energy, Natural Resources, and Government with KPMG Ghana. He returned to Liberia where he was employed in the Assurance Unit with PricewaterhouseCoopers Liberia. In addition, he worked at the Internal Audit Agency as Sector Director responsible for Special Projects. Before, joining the GAC, Cecil served as Deputy Director of Finance at the Central Bank of Liberia, where he was responsible for the daily tasks of supervising a staff of the Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Payroll units.
