Mr. Foday G. Kiazolu, BBA, FCCA

Mr. Foday G. Kiazolu is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Member of the Liberian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (LICPA). He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) from the United Methodist University (Liberia) and has certificates in Project Management, Team Management, Budgeting, and Crisis Management from the Harvard Manage Mentor Program.

Mr. Kiazolu served as Acting Deputy Auditor-General from September 2013 and was appointed Deputy Auditor General in February 2014. Prior to this appointment, he worked as the Lead Internal Auditor of the Program Management Unit (PMU) of the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), Republic of Liberia. The PMU was established within the MoA in 2010 to coordinate the preparation, management, and oversight of agricultural development projects within the overall framework of the Liberia Agriculture Sector Investment Program (LASIP). At the PMU, Mr. Kiazolu evaluated and provided reasonable assurance that risk management, control and governance systems of a financial portfolio of about US$150m covering six different projects with contributions from the Government of Liberia (GoL), World Bank, African Development Bank (AfDB), International Federation for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), etc. were functioning as intended.

He has also worked with KPMG Ghana as an external auditor where he practiced for many years. Initially, Mr. Kiazolu worked as a Resident Internal Controller at Ecobank- Liberia Limited.
