Yusador S. Gaye

Yusador Saadatu Gaye, CPA, CGMA was appointed Auditor General effective February 24, 2014 as the first female Auditor General in the history of the Commission. Ms. Gaye is responsible for supporting the Legislature in promoting accountability and transparency in the use of public resources by carrying out audits and inquiries of funds owned or controlled by the Government of Liberia.

Prior to her appointment as Auditor General of the Republic of Liberia, Ms. Gaye served as Foreign Service Inspector General with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where she was responsible for inspection of Liberian diplomatic and consular establishments abroad. She was also Senior Accounting and Management Advisor with the North Carolina State Treasurer – State and Local Finance Division, a Bank Examiner with the North Carolina Banking Commission and Senior Accountant with a Regional Accounting Firm.

Ms. Gaye is a graduate of North Carolina Central University (Cum Laude) with Master of Public Administration degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) from Saint Augustine’s College in North Carolina.

Ms. Gaye is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina State Board of Public Accountants and The American Society for Public Administrators.
